Startup Experience: Finance

Managing finances is one of the key aspects of building a successful startup. Yet many aspiring entrepreneurs might lack the knowledge needed for this.

In this Startup Experience open lecture, you have a chance to learn about the different types of income available to a startup. We’ll discuss cashflow budgeting, startup financing and creating the needed documents for potential investors. As an exercise, participants will get to build a cashflow budget for their startups’ first year of operations as well as a cap table of their new potential venture.

This event is run by AVP Co-director, Prof. Lauri Järvilehto! As an entrepreneur himself, Lauri has loads of hands-on experience from building a startup and securing its financing. He has founded the Finnish Academy of Philosophy and the learning game studio Lightneer. He has also written several bestselling books and is an active public speaker worldwide.
