This study focuses on spectral analysis, a mathematical tool with applications in radar, sonar, speech processing, and communication systems. It specifically addresses challenges in noisy autoregressive (AR) parameter estimation, direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation in unknown noise fields, and massive/mmWave MIMO channel estimation and data detection using one-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
The purpose of the thesis is to improve signal processing and communication systems by proposing novel methods that bridge theory and practical applications in broad area of signal processing. It contributes significantly to spectral analysis and its applications in various domains.
The research findings have practical applications in wireless communication, radar systems, and signal processing.
