Pikku-Ääniaalto IV | Open Call
Pikku-Ääniaalto is a smaller alternative instance of the annual sound oriented new media festival Ääniaalto. The aim of ÄÄNIAALTO as a whole is to create a fluent network in the sonic new media scene of Helsinki and an open culture accessible to anybody interested in learning and engaging with sound and new media practices.
For the fourth edition of Pikku-Ääniaalto we are seeking musicians, sound artists and performers of all kinds to animate alternative spaces and studios hidden away in the depths of Aalto campus. We are looking for projects that are innovative, intimate and engage with alternative formats for performance as they will be recorded for a livestream event via the Aalto Arts Instragram. Performances will take place in various spaces on campus, highlighting the interdisciplinary workspaces and facilities that are available.
This call is open to all Aalto students and Aalto alumni.
