Open Strategy - Connecting Science with Practice

Open strategy means doing strategy in a participatory way, involving employees and other stakeholders in various parts of the process. At best, it can lead to increased awareness of and commitment to the strategy by the employees, while leading to higher quality strategy through tapping into the wisdom of the whole organization. However, it is not easy to implement, thus requiring right practices to avoid common pitfalls.
