Fresh and Sustainable Experiments of the Global North

This northern dimension future forum presents sustainable solutions to societal challenges and is part of the Finnish EU Presidency.

The Fresh and Sustainable Experiments of the Global North forum presents technology and human-centred sustainable solutions to societal challenges in the fields of health, transport, environment and culture. Voice is given to representatives of civil society, universities, business and government. The exhibition area presents fresh solutions to societal challenges by students and youth.

The Forum is free of charge and open to everyone.

Programme and registration

The event is organised by the Northern Dimension Institute together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and financed by DG NEAR/European Commission.

The Open Forum serves as the people-to-people pre-event to the ‘Clean and Global North - High-Level Event on Regional Cooperation in the North’ event on 28-29 November in the Finlandia Hall, Helsinki.  This event is organised by the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, together with the European External Action Service and the European Commission acknowledging the 20-year anniversary of the Northern Dimension.
