Welcome to the LIBER (Centre of Excellence in Life Inspired Hybrid Materials) workshop at the Night of Science in Helsinki. The event will take place at the Oodi library (3rd floor, children’s area) on the 22nd of January, 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00.

The workshop is open to everyone, fun for all ages, and is designed to communicate our work to the general audience. 

Come and explore a variety of hands-on activities, including:
- Pulling silk fibers
- Learning about the fun world of proteins in an interactive way
- Drawing and colouring on bacterial paper (cellulose)
- Creating patterns related to active matter and flows
- Experimenting with hydrophobic surfaces
No registration or participation fee is required. Just come by any time!
