Welcome to the next event from the Health Talks series - health, life sciences and entrepreneurship talks organised by Aalto University, Health Design, Health Hub Tampere, HealthTurku, HiLIFE, Kuopio Health, OuluHealth, Terkko Health Hub, Upgraded - Health Startup Association of Finland, Laurea Entrepreneurship Society, Metropolia Entrepreneurship Society and Xes Helsinki.
 

What:

In this Health Talks event, we will compare alternative paths toward commercializing research results.

Oftentimes, scientists may believe that participating in research commercialization and entrepreneurship means giving up one’s research career. However, this does not need to be so, and we will illustrate how this stereotype often actually lacks validity and will explore the options a researcher has available.

You will hear the story of three experienced scientists who took alternative paths to commercialize their promising research results.

The event is jointly organized by Aalto University and HiLIFE (the University of Helsinki).
