Flower arrangement workshop
Welcome to create flower arrangements from invasive species on Monday June 9, 2025!
In the workshop participants make flower arrangements to decorate various Conferment ceremonies, as well as table arrangements for the Conferment Ceremony dinner. The workshop follows the ceremony week theme "species".
In the workshop participants make flower arrangements to decorate various Conferment ceremonies, as well as table arrangements for the Conferment Ceremony dinner. The workshop follows the ceremony week theme "species".
The workshop is part of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture's ceremony week, which will culminate in the Conferment Ceremony on 13 June. The workshop is held by artist Maiju Koskela, and the materials were collected from her garden and nature last year. Dried plants are used in all the arrangements. Koskela is an Aalto ARTS alumnus and graduated from the Department of Design in 2019.

There are limited numer of spots for the workshop, and they will be filled in the order of registration. The languages of the workshop are Finnish and English.
