FARIAincubator: grant writer seminar Pt. 2 - focus NIH
The Finnish-American Research & Innovation Accelerator (FARIA) is a strategic US-focused network, serving as platform which integrates, aligns and supports joint and associated actions of Finnish member institutions.
This seminar is part of the FARIAincubator program which provides up-to-date information and advice regarding upcoming joint calls between RCF and its partner portfolio in the U.S.
The Research Council of Finland (RCF - formerly Academy of Finland) has two partners in the United States: the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The RCF and the American funders have agreed to promote Finnish-American research collaboration in 2020–2024. Cooperation will be strengthened by funding research projects between American and Finnish parties in areas represented by the research flagships included in the RCF’s Finnish Flagship Program.
The aim of this seminaris to focus on proposal development for the upcoming Research Council of Finland call with NIH focusing on all RCF flagship themes but must also align with one or more NIH Center missions.
Target group: Researchers in flagship areas looking to apply together with US-colleagues for joint funding calls from Research Council of Finland and NIH (all flagship topics but must align with one or more NIH Center missions)
Session lead: Eva Björndal, Director of Research Award Administration (Pre- and Post-Award), King’s College London
The webinar is organized in collaboration with NCURA - National Council of University Research Administrators.
The seminar will be recorded and uploaded on the FARIA webpages.
