Espoo's Saint Lucy is visiting the Learning Centre on 17 December, at 2pm

Saint Lucy's Day is celebrated as a memorial to the legend of Saint Lucy on December 13th every year. Traditionally, a girl elected to portray Lucy, is dressed in white clothes, a red belt and wearing a crown of candles on her head and holding a candle in her hand. The idea is that Lucia (lat. Lux, light) brings light to the darkness of winter.
