Stanley Kelder shows different types of app designs that help you change your electricity consumption in his Master’s Thesis titled ‘App design to affect behavior of electricity consumption’. Using new insights in how to show information in an app, Stanley created designs that help you understand your electricity consumption and actively encourage you to save electricity. Although the study did not show differences between different app designs, the results are promising for further development of an effective app to help you change your behaviour of electricity consumption.
