Antti Kangasrääsiö, M.Sc.(Tech.), will defend the dissertation "Machine Learning Methods for Interactive Search Interfaces and Cognitive Models" on Friday 16 November 2018 at 12 noon at the Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall M1, Otakaari 1, Espoo.The dissertation introduces methods that improve the usability of intelligent systems that model and adapt to their users. The dissertation also introduces a simulation-based method for efficient and reliable inference of realistic complex user models.
