The Hybrid Aalto Open Days -event gives you the opportunity to learn more about Aalto University, studying in our programmes and what it is truly like to be part of the Aalto community!
During the week-long event, you get the chance to hear and ask questions from Aalto's students and staff about what it is like to study at Aalto and Finland. The first two days are filled with student-lead webinars with a focus on sharing the student perspective of all of Aalto's three fields. On the third day, you get to learn about housing, career planning and student community and the fourth day is dedicated to information on how to apply to Aalto. The final day, September 29, takes place in Otaniemi with organised tours around the campus.
The Aalto Open Days -event focuses on bachelor's and master's programmes taught in English at Aalto University.

Studying in an English taught bachelors programme at Aalto
Aalto students discuss their experiences of studying in one of Aalto's 8 English taught bachelors programmes. You will be joined by students from all three fields: Art and Design, Business and Economics as well as Science and Technology. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.

Students at Aalto's different Art and Design masters programmes discuss what studying at Aalto and Finland is like. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.

Studying in a Master's programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering at Aalto
Students at Aalto's different science and technology masters programmes discuss what studying at Aalto and Finland is like. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.

How to apply to Aalto's masters programmes
Aalto University Admissions Services share information on the application process to Aalto University. You can ask general admission questions during the Q&A session but due to the limited amount of time, if you have very specific questions about the application process, please email Admissions Services: [email protected]

During the campus tours, you will get the opportunity to physically visit various places on Aalto University's main Otaniemi campus with our student guides. You can choose from three different tours, each focusing on one of Aalto's three fields.
Time: Tours start at 10 AM and 1 PM
Length: approx 2 hours
Note! Both 10am and 1PM Arts, Design and Architecture tours are fully booked!
Tips for an enjoyable tour:
- Otaniemi campus is large and you will be walking outside, please dress according to the weather.
- Instructions about arriving to Otaniemi campus can be found here.
- The tours are free of charge.
- There is a limited amount of spaces on the tours so please cancel your reservation if you cannot make it
