5G in Healthcare

Welcome to a Health Talks event on the opportunities and uses of 5G technology in healthcare. Health Talks is a series of health, life sciences, and entrepreneurship talks organized as a collaborative effort by Aalto University, Health Design, Health Hub Tampere, HealthTurku, HiLIFE, Kuopio Health, OuluHealth, Terkko Health Hub, Upgraded - Health Startup Association of Finland, Laurea Entrepreneurship Society, Metropolia Entrepreneurship Society and Xes Helsinki.
 
The health and wellbeing sector is continuously evolving and looking for new technological solutions to enable more effective work practices, and ultimately, better care for patients. Advanced technology plays many impactful roles in the digital transformation that is shaping the future, and 5G technology has very much to offer to high-quality healthcare.
 
During the webinar, this time organized by OuluHealth in collaboration with Aalto Networking Platform – a collaborative organization of Aalto University – participants can find about topics such as how AI-enabled edge computing can help in bringing novel telehealth services available for a broader clientele, including patients, while at the same time reducing costs and improving the quality of care.
