Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the School of Electrical Engineering

Women's Lunch

With these events, the School of Electrical Engineering promotes changing the gender balance in technical fields.

Women's Lunch is a series of events for peer-support, networking and discussing gender related issues on academic career. The events are mainly targeted for women researchers and researchers in gender minorities, but they are open to all ELEC community members interested in advancing equality in academia. With these lunches the School of Electrical Engineering implements Aalto University's EDI plan and "Inclusion for diverse minorities" action therein, and promotes changing the gender balance on technical fields.

You can find information on coming lunches on the School webpages under upcoming events, Aalto's Event pages and the School EDI pages. If you have ideas for the topics or want to volunteer organising an event, please contact Professor Yu Xiao or Doctoral Researcher Nada El Bouharrouti.
