Heart4Oxygen
Annually approximately 200 000 patients suffer from low cardiac output syndrome as a complication of heart surgery.
Heart4Oxygen project aims to enable more optimal myocardial protection for cardiac operations. Currently we are developing novel sensor technology for monitoring myocardial oxygenation to achieve safer heart surgery.
Heart4Oxygen project is funded by Business Finland and Aalto University, and prepares to commercialize the method in the near future. Please contact us for further information.
