HySelect project

Hydrogen production

The team also has extensive activities involving the production and logistics of green. We have an EU project HySelect where we work with SO2 depolarized electrolysis for low-cost industrial hydrogen production. This type of electrolyser uses more abundant materials compared to the traditional polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) system. We are also working with the modelling of dynamic operation of PEM water electrolysers and with large scale hydrogen storage systems to support the integration of green hydrogen into industrial processes – these activities are funded by Profi 7 “hydrogen deal”.
