Distributed and Mobile Computing

The Distributed Mobile Computing research group conducts experiment-driven systems research analyzing, building, and optimizing distributed mobile computing systems and services. The target systems are typically end-to-end that include end devices, mobile networks, and edge, fog and cloud computing systems. The focus is on computationally demanding multimedia services, such as real-time multimedia processing and extended reality (AR/VR/MR), which are often also associated with exceptionally high quality user experience expectations.
