‘I often feel that the finished result for course work has to be perfect. I have worked on glass a lot, and I’m setting the bar really high for myself with glass work nowadays. With these mandatory art courses, I have decided to take a more relaxed attitude; I’m testing stuff and trying out things that I haven't done before. For example here, I’m working on a piece that I have made from glossy copper. My thinking was that the shiny surface could help you to stop and reflect on your own feelings.’
