‘It is likely that not nearly everyone who studies here in Otaniemi is aware that they study at a masterpiece of modern architecture. A great many tourists from around the world visit Otaniemi each year to see Alvar Aalto's buildings, as well as the chapel designed by Heikki and Kaija Siren. Although the campus will certainly change in coming years, I feel it is important that these changes are carried out in a way that honours our history and Otaniemi's cultural heritage.’
