David Popa

"My father was one of the first graffiti artists in New York City. He later turned into more classical art and fell in love with works of old masters. My childhood home was packed with all his paintings, art books and all that kind of stuff, so he has influenced me a lot as an artist. Last year was my first year as a professional artist. At the moment, I’m working with paintings on canvas for my forthcoming exhibition, but I have also done street art and murals in the same kind of realistic style."
