Aalto University Innovation Services
Aalto Innovation Services manages commercialization of inventions, intellectual property and technology transfer at Aalto University. Our aim is to convert research results to positive societal impact through commercialization and successful technology transfers.
Innovation Services assess both technical and commercial potential, patentability, and team capability, as all of these are needed in the successful commercialization process.
Innovation Services (IS) serves widely researchers and Aalto community in developing inventions and in implementing commercialization activities. IS manages intellectual property (IP) protection in collaboration with the researchers and executes technology transfers with the versatile industrial companies – from startups to the international corporates.
