We offer art, science, technology, and economics education for children, young people, and teachers

We support the growth and development of children and young people from both extracurricular and learning perspectives. In addition, through our activities we aim to support comprehensive and upper secondary school teachers in contextual and phenomenon-based teaching by providing concrete tools for their work.

The content and focus areas of Aalto University guide our activities

We are an integral part of our university’s lifelong learning and learning services ecosystem. We operate between the university and the school world, inspiring and advancing learning and teaching in business, arts, technology, and natural sciences. The content and research of all six schools of Aalto University are reflected in our activities and workshops. We strive to make the university an approachable and accessible place for people of all ages.

You can participate in our activities from anywhere in Finland

We organize activities on the Aalto University campus in Otaniemi, Espoo, in our Junior Lab and Junior Space learning facilities. However, our activities are also accessible remotely, enabling participation from across Finland.

Our formats include hands-on study visits both on-site and online, themed weeks, workshops delivered in schools, researcher visits, events, camps, and continuing education for teachers. In our workshops, children and young people—from primary school pupils to upper secondary students—have the opportunity to experiment, explore, and get inspired themselves. The activities are guided by enthusiastic and knowledgeable students from Aalto University.

Street address: Kemistintie 1B, Otaniemi, Espoo and Vuorimiehentie 2, Otaniemi, Espoo.
