My research is focused on energy-efficient structures, within that context, I tries to fit in my previous experience of Finite Element Modelling, Structural Mechanics, and Solar cell integration. I am also working on the behavior of FRP-concrete structures starting from bond interaction until overall structural behavior.

I started my Journey as undergraduate at Arab Academy for Science and Technology (Cairo, Egypt) with steel design graduation project. Continuing my passion for steel structures, I did my Master's degree in the same field but in Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt). By the end of 2013, the global focus on energy encourage me to study the behavior of sandwich panels with integrated solar cells as my PhD at Iowa State University. After graduation in Aug. 2017, I went back to Egypt to teach and perform research in Structural Mechanics.
