Aalto University and University of Helsinki host this popular event for (newly arrived) international staff and their family members. This is an opportunity to get some practical hints about forthcoming seasons, Finnish people and Finland.

What: Nice and relaxed introduction event to Finland and Finnish seasons, culture and habits for the newly arrived international staff and their families.
When: Tue 19 March 2024, at 17 
Where: Otaniemi campus, Espoo. Väre building, hall V001 (JENNY JA ANTTI WIHURIN RAHASTO) (street address Ekonominaukio 1 , Espoo)

Registration: Please note that preregistration is required, register here by 11 March.

What is Experiencing Finland?

Aalto University and the University of Helsinki organize in cooperation welcoming events - Experiencing Finland - for (newly arrived) international staff and family members. Experiencing Finland event is twice a year - in the spring and  in the autumn - each university hosting one event.

The Experiencing Finland event usually consist of a presentation of Finnish culture, as well as seasonal events and specialties. After the general presentation, the floor is yours so you can share your stories in a small groups.  And of course we have reserved time for networking.

Experiencing Finland event provides a great opportunity for cross organizational networking! Family members are most welcome to join.
