Tuomo Lempiäinen, M.Sc., will defend the dissertation "Logic and Complexity in Distributed Computing" on Thursday 4 April 2019 at 12 noon in Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall M1, Otakaari 1, Espoo.
The dissertation studied the theory of distributed computing from two perspectives. It established a connection between distributed computing and mathematical logic, as well as proved the existence of several new complexity classes.
