Bio: Robin Welsch is a postdoctoral researcher at LMU Munich, Germany. He works at the intersection of human-computer interaction, experimental psychology, and artificial intelligence with a particular focus on social interaction. His research covers interdisciplinary topics such as proxemics, personality assessment, spatial interaction, human-AI interaction, and methods such as AR/VR and Bayesian modeling. Previously, he was a visiting researcher at VU Amsterdam, Netherlands, and completed his PhD at the University of Mainz, Germany, with the distinction summa cum laude. He has established himself internationally in the HCI and psychology community, where he has co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers. From April 2022, he will lead the Experimental Psychology and Human Factors group at TU Chemnitz as an interim professor (April 2022-October 2022).
