‘In my experience, we’re taught to channel our creativity into something that might become a career or a profession. Such thinking can promote the idea of, in a sense, staying inside a ready sandbox. This is why it has been so great to be a part of organising DASH, Europe’s biggest hackathon, which sort of blows up any existing sandboxes and aims to come up with even the craziest ideas that might not emerge in normal situations. On a concrete level, we’re employing design thinking in search of solutions for, among other things, how to develop better health care.’
