We sell and license patented technology and the know-how to needed to deploy patented technologies. Proprietary technology developed through research at Aalto University is used by a number of global companies.
On average, Aalto University seeks thirty patents every year. Our goal is to maximise Aalto University's societal impact by making research, teaching and other results available where possible, while at the same time securing the rights of our academic staff and students to commercialise their innovations with regard to the university's open science policies.
