Learning outcomes
After the course, the student has a basic understanding of the current rules on data protection, including the main definitions, the roles in data protection and obligations following from accountability provisions.
Content
We will discuss data protection law in context of other rights and interests, using recent case law. We will not only go through the General Data Protection Regulation in detail but also see how this EU law works in context with other national or EU instruments.
