Experiences from a FunMat major student, Zhenzi Chen

I have been interested in nanotechnology for a long time, and I am glad that I chose Functional Materials as my academic family here in Aalto. In this major we got to learn theories in a very inspiring and fun way and we also had a chance to do various practical projects for the companies in the related fields.  The major gives you lots of flexibility and as an international student, I felt it was fantastic that I could keep my studies well in track while still enjoying the welcoming student culture. I finished my master thesis in Beneq, a Finnish nanotechnology company, and now my career just started here.
