Ahmad Alhilal is a postdoctoralresearcher at Aalto University, Department of Computer Science.

From Oct 2022 to Nov 2024, he worked as a postdoc research fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Division of Integrative Systems and Design (ISD) and Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas (EMIA).

Ahmad received a PhD degree in computer science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

His Ph.D. thesis title is "Reliable and Real-time Content Streaming for Edge and Cloud Computing"
His research interests include Real-time Streaming, Distributed Computing, Scalable Visual Computing, and Cloud-rendered Mobile/XR Gaming.
