Mikko Saukkoriipi

Mikko Saukkoriipi is a doctoral researcher at Aalto University specializing in explainable and trustworthy AI. His research applies computer vision and natural language processing to medical diagnostics, developing interpretable and reliable deep learning methods. Previously, he worked as an air traffic controller with Tower (TWR), Approach Surveillance (APS), and Approach Procedural (APP) ratings, experience that informs his focus on AI for safety-critical domains.
