Prof. Lauri Savioja is full-time Head of the Department of Computer Science. His own research interests include room acoustics, virtual reality, and auditory displays. His research group belongs to the Aalto Acoustics Lab, a multidisciplinary center of high competence with excellent facilities for sound-related research. Prof. Savioja is a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society, Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America, and Senior Member of IEEE. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America.
