The Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI) hosts the AI in Materials Science workshop on 28 January 2020. The workshop explores the possibilities of AI-assisted materials science and design and welcomes new researchers from Aalto University, University of Helsinki, and VTT to join the FCAI research community.
The program starts with six presentations introducing research examples on AI-assisted materials research. The presentations are followed by a kick-off meeting of the FCAI Highlight E AI-driven design of materials. This kick-off meeting introduces the concept of FCAI Highlights to the wider research community in the Helsinki area. The objective of the kick-off meeting is to identify researchers that are interested in the combination of AI and materials science and that would like to contribute to FCAI.
We invite researchers working in the multidisciplinary fields of AI and materials science to join the workshop!
