B.Sc. Samuel Rantataro, FunMat Class 2017, Research Assistant in Microfabrication group
Best part of Functional Materials has been learning about the key technologies used in modern day semiconductor industry. The major has given me the tools to understand and design the production of electronic devices from the very first step of selecting wafers, throughout the whole process finally resulting into individual chips. By having a wide choice of specialization and elective studies in the program, I have been able to compile a unique ensemble specifically tailored to understand both of the worlds of materials science and electrical engineering.
