I research and develop participatory planning at the Department of Built Environment at Aalto University. I am currently finishing my PhD thesis on polyphonic planning practices.
In particular, my interests lie in enhancing participation among marginalized groups, understanding participatory experiences, developing dialogical planning practices, and improving the influence of participation. My professional background is in architecture, specifically in city and general planning.
