Atiullah Saif obtained a bachelor's degree in transportation engineering from Univesity of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and a master's degree in transportation engineering specialized in transport systems from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. He served as a Lecturer of Transport Engineering at COMSATS University Islamabad.
Atiullah is currently working as a Doctoral Researcher in Spatial Planning and Transportation Engineering Research Group. His scientific interests rely on Demand Responsive Transport, Public Transport, Transport Modeling, Emerging Transport Technologies and Travel Behavior.
