Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, you will:
- be able to write longer texts than before and communicate via email
- be able to do information retrieval independently
- be able to talk about a wider range of your hobbies and discuss health and other topics of interest
- understand simple words and expressions relating to workplace environments
- recognise about 160 new Chinese characters and be able to use them.
Content
Expanding knowledge and more fluent use of grammar and vocabulary, plenty of oral communications, writing tasks and listening comprehension exercises, becoming more familiar with Chinese culture.

Recommended prerequisites: LC-9020 Chinese 2 or equivalent knowledge.
Evaluation
- Lectures 36 h and self-study 45 h, active participation. Passing the course requires 75% attendance in class.
