Content
The course is meant for students interested in Spanish-speaking lands and cultures. During the course you will:
- become acquainted with the cultures of the Hispanophone world
- become familiar with the principles of Spanish pronunciation
- learn common basic vocabulary and phrases relating to work and everyday situations, with topics including making someones acquaintance, introductions and giving basic information about yourself.

Learning outcomes
- You will have an understanding of some basic Spanish phrases and a command of Spanish pronunciation.
- You will have some understanding of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, their customs and special characteristics, and the basics of their work and business cultures.

- An essay on a culture-related theme
- Oral presentation on a culture-related theme
