Modern Web Applications: State-of-the-art and Challenges

Abstract:

Continuous improvements of web frameworks, browsers, server-side technologies leads to richer web experience for users. Recent years, we have observed paradigms shifts in many aspects of web application ecosystem: changes of technology stacks both for front-end and back-end parts. Such technologies as Angular, React, Node.js, Spark, Tensorflow, Web components, Progressive web applications, Internet-of-things, Docker, and many more become a common practice in the wast web application ecosystem. This fact leads to new challenges: efficiency, privacy and security for the constructed technology stacks. This talk will focus on state-of-the-art status, vision and challenges that we going to face for the modern web applications.
