Kuvaus
Ohjelma (alustava)
- 12:30–13:00 Kahvi/tee
- 13:00–13:05 Tervetulosanat — Enrico Glerean, moderaattori
- 13:05–13:35 The creative process behind AI short films — Krista Jäntti, Aalto Startup Center
In this talk, I share my perspective on creating AI short films as a solo creator. What looks easy on the surface is not. Getting to a coherent, high-quality result requires a surprising amount of creative direction.
I walk through how I work in practice, from shaping prompts and visual language to controlling tone, pacing, and story. AI does not remove the need for creativity. It shifts it. The role of the creator becomes more like a director, making constant decisions and guiding the outcome step by step.
- 13:35–14:05 How (Not) to Use AI for Drama Series Development — Katri Manninen, Aalto ARTS
What should a screenwriter delegate to AI, and what should she keep to herself? In this talk, screenwriter and doctoral researcher Katri Manninen discusses her hands-on experiences of using generative AI in drama series development.
- 14:05–14:15 Tauko
- 14:15–14:45 Copyright and AI-generated content — Maria Rehbinder, Aalto Legal
- 14:45–15:15 What If…? Untraining AI Through Artistic Approaches — Bruno Moreschi, Apulaisprofessori, Aalto ARTS, Taiteen ja median laitos
How can we imagine and create an AI that is more experimental, more transparent, and less driven by marketing logics? This talk presents projects, exercises, and exchanges that I have developed over nearly a decade with people (and with deconstructed or unconventional technological tools) applying artistic methodologies and practices.
It proposes working with the notion of an “untrained AI,” one that remains open to greater human agency, to error, to new possibilities and even to possible refusals.
- 15:15 - 15:45 Avointa keskustelua (ja lisää kahvia/teetä)
