Nanotiede ja kehittyneet materiaalit
Nanotieteen ja kehittyneiden materiaalien ryhmä on osa Aalto-yliopiston elektroniikan ja nanotekniikan laitosta. Ryhmä toimii nanovalmistuksen Micronova-tutkimuskeskuksessa noin 15 tutkijan voimin. Yhdessä Itä-Suomen yliopiston kanssa ryhmä isännöi myös Tekesin rahoittamaa FiDiPro-professori (Finland Distinguished Professor) Nasser Peyghambariania Arizonan yliopistosta. Tutkimusta rahoitetaan pääasiassa ulkoisista lähteistä, mukaan lukien erityisesti Teknologian ja innovaatioiden kehittämiskeskus Tekes, Suomen Akatemia, EU, ESA ja teollisuuden toimijat.
