Masood Masoodian
I have a PhD from the University of Waikato, where I used to work (2000-2016). I have also previously worked in the University of Southern Denmark and Massey University.
I lead the Visual Communication Design research group. I am interested in design of interactive visualizations to provide effective means of understating information by ordinary people in areas such as health, energy, and sustainability. I am also interested in design thinking and trying to better understand the design process, for instance by investigating the role of imagery in the visual design process.
