Bruno Moreschi works in the Department of Art and Media at the School of Arts, Design and Architecture as Associate Professor in New Media. He leads teaching and curriculum development in new media, mentors students in creative and digital practice, and coordinates research collaborations exploring emerging technologies, media art, and design. He can be contacted regarding New Media programme activities, student supervision, interdisciplinary research initiatives, and creative technology engagements. Moreschi has a particular interest in the use of experimental artistic methodologies in the field of machine learning, especially computer vision, as well as non-hegemonic, creative, and experimental practices in technology.
His projects are recognized by grants, exhibitions and institutions such as VolkswagenStiftung, Collegium Helveticum, University of Cambridge, ZKM, Van Abbemuseum, Bauhaus Fellowship, IDFA Film Festival, São Paulo Art Biennial, Capes/CNPq, São Paulo Research Foundation, Rumos Itau Cultural, SESC São Paulo, and Funarte. His research has been published journals, including ARTMargins, Photographies, AI & Society, New Media & Society, The British Journal for the History of Science and International Journal of Heritage Studies.
