Postdoctoral Researcher
Postdoctoral Researcher
T213 Built Environment
Omer’s research interests include hydrology, climate extremes, and water scarcity at a river basin scale. He studies the combined effects of climate change, land-use change, and human activities on water resources, linking hydrological processes with socioeconomic exposure to extremes such as droughts, floods, and heatwaves. His work also involves hydrological and statistical modeling, including precipitation merging and evapotranspiration estimation in arid regions. Currently, he is studying nutrient dynamics at the river basin scale under different climate, land-use, and management scenarios.
