Teachers’ afternoon coffee: let’s talk about online learning opportunities

There are countless possibilities to support in-class teaching with online elements without moving courses completely to remote environments. Aalto Online Learning - Online Hybrid Lab invites you to discuss how online materials could help with challenges that we repeatedly encounter in teaching at the university. In this afternoon coffee session we lead the discussion by showcasing some examples of hybrid learning methods and cases from the viewpoint of business and arts studies.

In this afternoon coffee session we lead the discussion by showcasing some examples of hybrid learning methods and cases from the viewpoint of business and arts studies. For example utilizing virtual showcasing of projects as well as moving theoretical parts of the course to online settings.

We also share how Aalto Online Learning - Online Hybrid Lab can support Aalto’s personnel in their online teaching development projects. The goal of the session is to inspire, inform and exchange thoughts about online education opportunities.

We will start with a short presentation about case examples and then open the floor for open discussion and sharing of experiences. Coffee and light snacks are available which is why we hope for sign ups beforehand.
