Leadership Support Services (LSS) supports the university leadership and the implementation of the Aalto University strategy. LSS provides services related to international partnerships, strategic and quality management, management information needs, field analysis, public affairs and legal services for administration and records management at university, school and department levels.
We are looking for a
Specialist for EU Affairs
Your main responsibility is to provide specialist and coordinating support for Leadership Support Services at our University. The work includes proactive support in EU affairs including statements preparation and preparing background materials. You also actively take part in coordinating events, visits and meetings. The work includes a wide variety of tasks that all contribute to University’s EU affairs, societal impact and external visibility.
This is a full-time, fixed term position until 30.4.2021.
In order to succeed in this job, we expect you to have
- Relevant work experience in similar kind of tasks; you might be currently finishing your master’s studies, or working in a similar kind of a specialist role
- Solution oriented, service-minded team player attitude combined with dynamic style of working
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn quickly and integrate to academic environment
- Excellent written and verbal command of Finnish and English
- A master's degree / bachelor's degree
You report to Head of Advisory Services, Teija Löytönen, and work closely with the Advisory Services’ team and Leadership Support Services’ team as well as Development Director Sirkku Linna.
