Hi there! Aalto Squad combines all the student activities in bachelor’s and master’s level in all languages, in Finnish, Swedish and English. We are a bunch of driven students who all study in different fields at Aalto University and we are here to share our experiences both from inside and outside the classroom with you. Here, you can check out our blog and social media channels to see what we are up to. We also organise chat sessions, participate in different events and visit universities and schools throughout the year to meet new prospective students. You can also contact us squad members through email or our social media channels to get more information on different programmes, studies and life in general. Don't hesitate to reach out, we are here for you!

Women in tech

Encouraging women to go for tech

Less than one third of scientists and engineers in Finland are women. In the EU Member States, only Luxembourg has less female engineers than Finland does. The number of female doctoral graduates in Finland is growing every year. However, there are still three times less female PhD graduates than male ones. This needs to change.

I can recommend taking advantage of the exchange opportunities in Aalto University to everyone. We often do not even realize how grateful we are to have so many choices to explore the world.

Aalto is for all ages

Considering furthering your education but thinking you are too old? Friends and family asking you how old you will be when you graduate? Tell them that you will be the same age as if you do not graduate!
