Access control aikataulu kartta

In line with PMT's (President's Management Team) policy 21.11.2019, Aalto University is renewing access control policy and redesigning access control processes, where user-centricity and increased automation levels are considered critical. New, state of art access control physical readers and operating system are procured to support change. New readers and system provide better support for how Aalto University facilities can be securely used by faculty, staff, students and externals. New system shall also enhance the level of overall physical security of Aalto University premises.

The map that is shown on this page shows the preliminary timetable for the project. Changes have already been made in some of the buildings (Dipoli, Harald Herlin Learning Centre, Väre, School of Business, A Grid and Vuorimiehentie 2). If you already have a token for one of these buildings, you do not need to do anything. If you are a member of the Aalto University staff and do not have a new token than you should collect a token from a named pick-up point.

The HSL cards–both the green and the blue card–will function as access keys for students on the campus also in the future. HSL cards will be increasingly used for getting around in the Aalto University buildings. Notice! In the future, HSL cards will no longer be suitable as personnel access tokens. HSL card will only remain in use as the students' access card.

Changes concern also campus' tenants, co-working customers and on site service providers. Please follow your e-mail and/or ACRE extranet.
